Nurse Immunisers submit your EOI – Australia wide Casual opportunities for the 2025 Flu Season

VaxWorks Health Services are seeking Expressions of Interest from Nurse Immunisers for our 2025 Flu Programs.

About the role

As a Nurse Immuniser you will be responsible for the successful delivery of employee flu and other vaccination programs in workplaces in a wide range of industries, primarily between March and June.

You will travel from workplace to workplace; therefore, your own car is essential.  We do aim to minimise the distances between visits to maximise the time you will be delivering clinical services.

As a modern company, we utilise processes that are almost 100% paperless to provide a great experience for our nurses and clients. The role would suit any Nurse Immunisers looking for a change in pace from their ‘regular’ job.   Opportunities range from working 4-5 days per week to just one day a week (minimum required).

Essential Criteria

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Nurse Immuniser qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience
  • Sound knowledge of immunisation best practice and the ability to manage vaccination-related medical emergencies
  • Current driver’s licence, own vehicle, and mobile phone
  • Australian work rights with nil restrictions
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Well organised and with a polite, professional manner

Preferred Criteria

Experience in workplace vaccination programs is preferable but not essential.

STEP 4: Successful applicants will be offered an employment contract.  New staff will need to complete some online induction processes as well as a face to face orientation prior to starting.
